Directly across the
river from the old town of Oporto in northern Portugal is the town of
Vila Nova de Gaia where the most famous port houses such as Taylors and
Fonseca have stored thier wine since the 1600's. It was very hard to stop
taking photos and concentrate on tasting wine. The
small stacks of bottles are the last stock of very old port dating from
the late 1800's. The bottom two images were taken in Bordeaux at Chateaux
Cerons.
