Every five years or so Penfolds invite a panel of judges from Australia
and around the world to taste every wine from every vintage that Penfolds
have made since the first Grange. Each wine is described and given a time
line for drinking. This is the third Rewards of Patience that I have had
the pivilege to work on. As with the last book I wanted to marry the current
label with examples of the beautiful early bottles to reinforce the amazing
heritage of such brands as St Henri. Rather than a static dry image I
chose to frame the bottles with muted shapes of glasses and bottles.
