The vineyards of the Bordeaux region are beautiful. There are at least 2000 wine producers here. My wife Sarah and I spent five days at the Vin Expo wine fair in 2005 trying to get a feel for the current trend in wine photography and label design. I photographed a few interesting producers along the way such as this German chocolate maker who specializes in designing chocolate to suit different wine styles. It was fascinating. Some of his chocolate creations had pepper, others had chili. This cathedral in Bordeaux was stunning. The exterior was only half renovated which shows the effects of time and pollution.
