I was commissioned by Qantas magazine to photograph restaurants and shopping in Madrid. The food in the old Latin part of town is stunning. The Tappas such as the one shown above were culinary works of art! It was a pure delight exploring this area. Every alley eventually leads to an open square where one or two, and some times ten little cafes sell superb coffee and very adventurous food. Baby eel in a spinach omelet springs to mind! It tasted great.

The top left image is a close up of a three hundred year old door that stood three metres high.
